Cruise Ship (Shore) Wedding Day Timeline
Our unique cruise ship shore elopements take place in the picturesque villages of Olden and Flåm, in Norway. Here you get a dramatic scenery for your special day, surrounded by mountains, fjords and glacier lakes.
Our all-inclusive packages are tailored for couples disembarking from cruise ships. With options for legal ceremonies, symbolic rites, or even Viking-themed weddings, you can choose between an all day elopement or a half day, depending on the departure time of your cruise. We take care of every detail, allowing you to focus on what truly matters—celebrating your love amidst stunning landscapes.

We can help you plan the whole trip from arrival in Norway to departure. We will send you travel guides and destination wedding planning guides for inspiration.
You’ll get unlimited support as we are always available on email, WhatsApp or Instagram to answer your questions.

Cruise ship pick-up & wedding day transport
On the event day, you and your partner have transportation included in our SUV.
We will pick you up from the cruise ship, get you married and celebrated, and return you back to the cruise ship.
This transportation can be for up to 4 people.
Wedding officiant
You can get legally or symbolically married.
We’ll help you find the right officiant for your event. Your wedding officiant will be glad to perform your ceremony anywhere, either in nature or at one of our private venues.
Their fee is included in your package.
If you’d like a special officiant, such as a Legal Humanist or Legal Viking Holistic, we can help you book them.
Support with legal applications
If you would like a legal wedding ceremony, be assured that we provide you with unlimited support during your application.
We provide a PDF guide on how to apply for the required non-impediment document.
We have learned a lot from past experiences and we have a 100% success rate.
We provide assistance throughout the application process and answer any questions that might come up along the way.
Hair & Make Up
This service is available for cruise ships stopping in Flåm, but we might be able to hire a stylist in Olden as well, depending on availability.
As a bride, you will be taken to our stylists salon in Flåm where you will have your hair and make up fixed.
Our hairstylist Eva has years of experience and she can do any style that you want. She is also a master of Viking braids.
The salon is gorgeous and comfortable and it’s the perfect place to get transformed into a bride.
Hair and make up is an optional add-on and is not included in the package.
Wedding Ceremony Venue
We pick you up from the salon or cruise ship, and take you to the ceremony venue, where your loved ones will be waiting for you to be a part of your special day.
The ceremony venue can be a private one by the fjord, a private farm, the top of the mountain, or by the glacier lake in Olden. Venue fees included in the package.
We are prepared for any type of weather and provide the right equipment (skins, blankets, fire pit, back up tent, backup venue, etc.).
Also included in your package is the ceremony audio system, including microphone with optional Spotify music playlist.
Wedding decor
You don’t need to think about decorations, just tell us what you prefer between boho chic decor, or Viking theme. We take care of the rest.
Wedding arch with silk flowers is included, ceremony setup/breakdown and other decorative details that will make your event beautiful and unforgettable.
Our signature boho style compliments the surrounding nature. It will give you a balance of subtle elegance with rustic outdoor feelings. We include many vases of pampas grass which looks great for your ceremony. Linen napkins with napkin rings and modern placemats set the tone for the lunch and dinner tables. Rustic flowers, candles and hanging lights complete the look.
For the Viking theme, we use wood-inspired Viking decorations to match with the raw Norwegian fjord landscapes. Blankets, furs, and Viking horns complete the look.
Non-alcoholic champagne & wedding cake
You have included non-alcoholic champagne & wedding cake served right after the ceremony, either at the venue or in nature.
It is a delicious wedding cake that everyone comments on. This cake receives some serious accolades and it’s the most popular type at Norwegian events.
It’s a juicy cake consisting of three layers of sugar base, filled with raspberry jam, cream, vanilla cream and shaved chocolate. The cake is finally covered with whipped cream and a layer of marzipan. Our pastry chef uses real almond marzipan.
We can adjust the cake to fit dietary requirements.
Fjord BBQ Lunch or Canapés
Our all inclusive package makes sure that you and your guests will not get hungry during the day.
Our Fjord BBQ Lunch, or canapés (for bigger weddings) includes a variety of locally sourced food, suitable for all diets.
We adjust depending on dietary restrictions and preferences.
Each lunch item is accompanied with a story and provides a local gastronomic experience.
Most guests love this and ask lots of questions.
Lunch can be removed if you do not need it.
The food is served at the ceremony venue or in nature.
SUV Photoshoot Adventure
Our SUV Photoshoot Adventure will give you just what you need to get epic pictures in the amazing, raw Norwegian nature.
Couples absolutely love this, and we’d say it’s a must to make your event unique and unforgettable.
This is usually for the bride & groom, but you can take maximum 2 more guests with you in our SUV.
You’ll be travelling together with the photographer to remote places on the mountain or in the surrounding nature, for spectacular bridal pictures.
After the photoshoot we end the day with dropping you back to your cruise ship, just in time for departure.
Photography throughout the event
We are founded by our photographer Paul Edmundson who is a 90 time award winning wedding, portrait and landscape photographer. One of the most awarded in Norwegian history.
For an all inclusive package, you get 5 hours of photography including ceremony, bridal portraits, event details & landscapes.
These 5 hours are spread throughout the day to make sure we capture all moments of your day.
You’ll get 30 photo proofs individually remastered per photography hour, 10 full resolution downloads per photography hour (meaning 50 photographs) that you select from a password protected, online viewing gallery.
You can purchase all pictures for an additional 4000 NOK. You get unrestricted printing rights.
Live Streaming
This is optional, but it’s a great addition for couples who are eloping.
In this way your family and friends can see your ceremony in the fjords.
This is only available for ceremonies at private fjord venues.
Wedding Rituals
You can choose between traditional ceremony without any rituals, or you can add:
hand fasting ritual (a beautiful Norse tradition)
sand mixing ritual.

Breathe & relax…
After the photoshoot adventure, we drop you and your partner at the cruise ship to rest, relax and refresh.
This will give you time to talk to family or friends who are not able to join your special day.
If you do have guests at your event, they can also take a break from the busy day, or we can find activities for them to do during your photoshoot & relax time.
Amazing dinner experience
Choose between outdoor dinner with fire experience, or a rustic fjord barn, or a private restaurant.
The choice of venue will depend on group size and availability.
We book the venue and take care of the 3 course wedding dinner.
Carefully selected dishes made from fresh and local ingredients.
You have included in the package the dinner boho setup including atmospheric lights and lots of candles, or the Viking themed dinner.
We return you to the cruise ship once the dinner experience is over.
